Hoop Now Final-05.png

Hey HoopNow family!

We just wanted to send out an email to address the new COVID restrictions and make it really clear to everyone what we can continue to do and what we can’t. We’d absolutely love to still see all of you and we’re putting in best practice and procedures to make sure that we can continue to have fun and learn in the safest and most responsible way possible.

From 11:59pm on 9th of August, changed gathering limits apply to the Melbourne metropolitan area. If you live in this area, you are only allowed to exercise outside with one other person, or members of your household.

Personal training and exercise outdoors can occur but with a limit of two participants Whilst exercising outside you should keep 1.5 metres distance between yourself and others and avoid sharing equipment.

HOOPNOW PLAN

Unfortunately, the commencement of our weekly HoopNow community program will have to be delayed until stage 3 restrictions have been eased. However, our private coaching sessions will continue to run albeit with certain restrictions in place.

1.    Lessons will be 1:1 except for our programs run as part of the special schools structure.

2.    All of our lessons will take place at local, outdoor courts and spaces.

3.    Social distancing will be emphasised throughout each session.

4.    All participants will be asked to supply their own equipment, if this is not possible we can arrange to provide equipment that will be sanitised before and after each use.

5.    All participants and coaches are asked to thoroughly wash their hands or sanitise before and after sessions.

6.    All coaches will have a work certificate which validates that the sessions fall under both exercise and work exemptions.

(These coaches are providing support work and care to people with special needs and are assisting those individuals in getting their exercise)

If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to give us a call as we want to work as closely with everyone as possible to make sure we all feel comfortable during these testing times.
